چکیده

Purpose: This study investigated the relationship between preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and severe postoperative edema ecchymosis after open rhinoplasty.
Materials Methods: The was carried out retrospectively in 165 ASA I-II patients aged 18-45 years who underwent rhinoplasty Department of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. were grouped based on their scores scales. degree considered “minimal” (Group M) those scoring 0-2 points “severe” S) 3-4 points. Periorbital both groups scored digital photographs taken 1st day.
Results: There no significant difference demographic clinical characteristics according to ecchymosis. optimal cut-off value NLR 2.1 (AUC = 0.747, Sensitivity 0.666, Specificity 0.707) for 1.5 0.869, 0.470) Multivariable analyzes development identified (4.67 [2.38-9.40] 6.54 [3.02-15.08, respectively) as a statistically independent prognostic factor.
